This week's interview is with Covestor member John Mooney, aka mooney. John is an avid personal investor and author of the popular stock blog The Gnome of Zurich Investor.

John invests in a range of areas but tends to hold a core set of stocks he believes to be undervalued and then trades around these positions. He is one of the most followed members on the site - is evangelized by our CEO Rikki Tahta who follows his every move, and incredibly has outperformed the S&P every month since joining Covestor back in June 07.

In his interview John explains his focus on intrinsic value and the process he applies in running different scenarios to assess his expectations of the stock. He also discusses his macro take on the current markets, and the 'battleships' likely to weather the current storm. The interview makes for great reading as John puts a great deal of analysis and thought into where and when to make his investments.
